Forward DC launched in Penn Quarter in 2019, with a focus on preventive, long-term care for DC residents. Our doctors help DC residents with preventive care challenges like heart disease, mental health, and cancer prevention and detection.
We’re located on the corner of 9th and I St. NW, across the street from the Department of Veterans Affairs building.
Unlike a traditional doctor’s office, you’re not going to be billed every time you visit the CarePod or if you need multiple blood screenings. For one flat fee, you get unlimited access to Forward services. No co-pays, hidden fees, or surprise bills – ever.

Forward's focus on the individual and implementing technology to help care for members and communities alike aligns with my desire to practice in an environment that is progressive, affords me time with members and places foundational emphasis on their personal experience.
Prior to joining Forward, Amanda practiced in a full scope primary care clinic where she treated all ages. Her focus included preventive medicine, chronic care management, weight loss management, and women's health.
Amanda has key interests in health prevention and total wellness along with chronic disease management. She enjoys partnering with members in helping them identify and achieving their personal wellness goals.
Amanda finds that her personal medical practice philosophy greatly aligns with Forward's innovative approach to primary care.
